🐝 Revolutionizing Beekeeping: BeeMotion's Winter Hive Solution 🌡️

The original post is just a cut and paste from the show notes for the YouTube video, which is talking heads from a Tech Show in Valencia where the company won a grant. I've tried searching on the net, including using an AI searcher and there doesn't appear to be any information about the...

Alex Jones appears to have got his comeuppance though, as it's been ruled that he must pay the defamation lawsuit amount awarded to the Sandy Hook Families and declaring bankruptcy will not absolve him of that requirement as he tried to do recently.

    Solar Panel Storage Batteries

A friend of mine bought a listed 17th century building, the problem was in the 1960's someone had built a crappy extension before the house was listed, this meant that the extension was part of the listing (as the listing included everything on the site at the time of listing) so he had to get...

    Honey Show Savoury Recipe

My Association recently asked entrants to their honey show to make a Baklava as a more involved sweet dish. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baklava There's loads of recipes for it online, and you can cheat by using shop bought filo pastry if you don't fancy making it from scratch..

If you had to start again..

I used to use commercials but if I was to start again it would probably be in Warre's just for a total change, and the joy of keeping the bees rather than harvesting loads of honey every year.

Asian hornet traps and baits - please review what you've used

These might stop the hornets getting the bees on the way in, but there's nothing to stop them using the devices as a perch until a bee comes out then 'hawking' it.

    Wasp trap bait

You could also add a dash of washing up liquid, this kills the surface tension of the liquid and the wasps can't then float on the surface.

Asian hornet traps and baits - please review what you've used

An interesting article in the Telegraph yesterday, about the way Bumblebees in Spain have learnt to deal with Asian Hornets. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2023/10/05/bumblebees-stop-drop-and-roll-to-fend-off-asian-hornets/ This is the start of the article in case it's behind their paywall...

    Asian Hornets

If you have a 3D printer (or know someone who does) the cones for the French traps are available on Thingiverse at no cost. All you then need is the bait box to fit the cones to.

I see what you did there but OP is definitely talking about Substitute, not Supplement as both the products he asks about are substitutes.

ultra bee or feed bee pollen Substitute.

This US company sell Ultra-Bee (it appears to be a US product): https://www.mannlakeltd.com/feeding-medications/ultra-bee-high-protein-pollen-substitute-dry-feed-40-lb/ and do international deliveries but you're responsible for import duties etc. Scottish Beekeepers Association have a recipe...

    online store: https://latiendadelaapicultura.es/

You could see if the companies sell on their country specific versions of eBay and Amazon, that way the listings sites usually take care of the import / export requirements. Alternatively see if there's another supplier outside of the EU, then you won't have to cross the customs wall.

    suitable paint for poly nucs?

Very common in Wales hence the bright yellow farmhouse with the maroon woodwork on the A483 just past the sugarloaf going north. It protects the house and who cares what the colour is :laughing-smiley-014
