Me too but using a bit of wire (that from old wired foundation frames works well )instead of masking tape.

I'm not just using varromed, as I said I treat after honey removal,this year with apiguard ,last year was maqs but use varromed in oct. and am getting high mite drop numbers so how is this not working?

In my short 5 years with bees I have never seen such quantities of ivy pollen and judging by weight increase nectar too, going into all hives and nucs.
