Caught my bees on japonica,gorse,snowdrops and hellebore (I know they were mine 'cause they were all wearing the striped scarfs I gave them for Xmas) Lots of pollen going in to all hives.

Blimey, at that price I'd want bees and a years supply of Formic Pro thrown in!

Now you're just being silly, everyone knows a hammer drill and an angle grinder are the only tools for that sort of job!

Hi Mark, as you probably guessed, I was being slightly tongue in cheek and with only half a dozen hives any excuse to take the roof off, in this case to add a super, gives me an excuse to have a wee peek inside ( I hope this not construed as fiddling ! ) Dave

Just wondering.........following this idea through, place your 4 or 5 supers,each being separated by paper on at the beginning of the season and let the bees look after them selves as regards to space.
