Ahhh thats exactly what's happening. What should I do?

So sorry to hear. I think it helps to make tiny slits in the paper to help bees start chewing. I'm in a similar position, I have a hive that's been Q- for several weeks. Anybody know if the normal uniting method will still work as expected..?

Nothing (yet) maybe because it's still all foundation, bar the one frame I transferred.

Update to my demaree. Inspected top BB on day 4. No charged queen cells. 4 very small play cups on one frame. I hope that's a good sign..

I put mine under the partially full super, directly above brood box. I added a frame from the top super to encourage the bees. Seems to be working as they have drawn out some comb.

Does it influence if the Q+ BB is at the bottom or top?
