    You know when you're given advise that you don't want to hear.... You know, the type you never want to admit that you know its for the best but would rather wait for something more suitable or more in line with what you were wishing for.....??? So much effort and the reward is to tip them out...

    I'm looking for some guidance and opinions please. I have 3 x trap outs that are Queenless and have laying workers... (Checked and confirmed today) All came out of very difficult colonies housed in trees and within walls that we could not break down.. Things to be taken in consideration...

    Put my first "Passive" trap out in place today. Going to try and get a small black colony to move up out of the rocks.... Plan is all workers have to travel through this box to get in and out... Hopefully it's a bit better than damp cold rocks...

    36 deg C here today.... Too hot to do anything outside..... These high temperatures got me thinking today.... I better start behaving myself because i'm really not going to do well if I end up going to HELL. :rolleyes:

I had 10 collected and frozen but one of my assistants "Girl Friend" threw them out as they were GROSS and took up space in the freezer at his home?? Haaaa haaa We (Local bee keepers) at...

    Busy with a "passive" trap out... wanting to trap out some of the local black genetics in an effort to preserve them.... Getting very rare and will be given there own Apiary closer to the mountains and away from dwellings. (Agro little girls - very moody) Trap below show a ground cavity trap...
