    Ice always works for me when i get stung on the face, if that fails a small spoonful of cement to harden up!! ;o)

    If it was me i would squash the current queen, pick what you think is the best looking queen cell(mark the frame), knock the rest out and go back in 4/5 days and knock any others they have built out and then leave alone till after your holidays. Darren

    About a month ago now my friend had a hive on double brood that hadn't been checked for a good 2/3 weeks due to the weather, he had a swarm come out of it on a friday which he caught, the very next day he was there when a virgin queen came back to the same hive from her mating flight. Darren

    they look too long for blood worms and don't look like the orange ribbon either but on looking up these i have came across the sludge worm which i think they are, thanks Darren

    About six weeks ago i filled a bucket with seaweed nettles and some water with the idea of using the end result on my flowers and garden, in the past few weeks i have noticed these worms in it, they seem to only come to the surface at night. Have anybody any idea what they are??

    collecting,drying and storing pollen.

    I have been asked now by a lot of people about selling them pollen, is there many on here that do this, i might buy a dryer for the job next year, once dried does it keep for long? Thanks Darren
