    In nature it's undesirable because it wastes energy that could be put into reproduction, that's why it only seems to shine through in dier times. In kept bees it reduces honey production.

    Our brass threads are still imperial, even the German ones for shower valves come with imperial threads lol. Yea I'm the same I can guess feet pretty well, and meters if it's not so long I guess in 3m lengths like pipes haha

    I'm a plumber/gas fitter we measure mild steel pipe, all thread sizes and threaded female sockets in imperial, all copper/plastic pipe and fittings are measured in metric! I'm 35 and all my life we have measured things in metric and imperial its mad!
