    Part capped frames

    Im about to extract a few supers but i have a few frames that are part capped or not capped at all. Ive kept my eye on them for the last few weeks and the capping seems to have stopped. What should i do with those frames. Im planning on taking the supers off for the winter but wont it ferment ?

    I have a Dadant with 3 supers. 1 is new with new frames and is filling up fast so i know it will be all honey. The other 2 are nearly full. I took 7 full frames off last year to extract and then fed syrup. Should i have marked the remaining full frames before feeding so i know what i extract now...

    Winter varroa treatment/ stopvarroa spray

    So I checked at the end of sept and there was no sign at all so not really knowing what I was doing I decided to leave it. Now, over a 24hour period there is probably 6-8 mites dropped through the floor. The bees are very active at the moment and none seem to be carrying them.

    Got my first hive last may and I've just noticed a few varroa that have dropped through the mesh floor. Obviously this has got me worried so what would be the quickest easiest way to get rid of them. Anyone have any experience of stopvarroa spray? Its organic and guaranteed to work. Any advice...
