    Type of shook swarm

Hi all, I hope everyone is good and keeping safe. Anyway I'm just wondering about a method of swarm control I heard about at a meeting but I didn't catch the full piece. From what I got is that you put an empty brood box on the bottom with new foundation or empty drawn frames. Then you shake...

    Parts for extractor

Cheers I’ll buy it off you if it doesn’t cost a fortune to post to Ireland. You wouldn’t believe how hard it is to find parts for extractors that don’t cost a fortune “Redwood” cheers I had a look there but it’s the drive gear I’m after.

Once you have these new queens what are you going to do with them. Do you have enough nucs boxes to hold them in until they are needed? I have about 5 nuc boxes and 4 mating hives. I was planning on keeping them in these until needed and if it ends up I don't need them maybe they will...

Problem is there are not too many bees left less than a frame. Is there anyway of telling if the bees are going to kill her prior to her being released? I am going to add more candy to the cage entrance to give her a bit more time in the cage
