    Thin to thick

That's exactly what I used to do which is better for the bees. But over time beekeepers have over simplified/over thought the ratios. Commercial syrups tend to have a higher concentration of sugar. I used to do 2lb of sugar to 1 pint of water, if you scale it up in metric that is around 2kg...

    Thin to thick

https://www.apiarybook.com/sugarsyrup.html Your 3.5 litres contains 2.72 kg sugar 2.72 litres water Changing the calculator to 2:1 3.5 litres in calculator 1 would be 4.44 kg to 2.22 litres. Add 1.5kg of sugar at a guess but is probably a little bit thinner than 2:1.

    Green desert

When I look at an out apiary site, I look at the hedgerows to see what plants are there. If the owners are rewilding, are they using plants suitable for honeybees. When I first started out, my first out apiary turned out to be unsuitable, admittedly the fields were arable land, but the hedgerows...

    Hivebeat monitor

The only YouTube video, an unboxing is by Potterne honey, but that was 7 months ago, no updates regarding this season.

    Hivebeat monitor

Looks like it just monitors temperature, humidity and whether the hive has been moved. For hobbyists it relies on a WiFi connection. The "professional" version for hobbyists and commercials, will work on solar power and mobile network.

    Rejected eggs

As above sounds like cannibalisation of a desperate colony.

    3 queens

When placing the frame with the queen on back in the hive, make sure she is either in the centre of the frame or away from the side bars if you are using Hoffman frames. Slide it down touching the next frame (Hoffman), will reduce the risk of killing queens.

    Areboss honey extractor.

Sounds more like ordinary frame spacers.

    3 queens

Think of this scenario, the queen was on a brood break when you opened the hive and at that point you may have damaged/killed the queen accidently. They cannot then produce queen cells if all you had were capped brood cells. As @enrico are they play cups? Empty? This is a sign of a healthy...

    Cleaning after wax moth.

Those boxes are rotated out and left for 1 to 2 seasons before reuse. I've never seen wax moth larvae inside upon reuse due to them being left empty.

    Cleaning after wax moth.

Burn the frames, no point in scorching the boxes, the wax moth larvae would be on the frames. I've always emptied boxes of wasps and closed up the hive.

What did you do in the Apiary today?

Had help removing supers from one apiary, because I'm out of breath after 2 hours at the apiaries plus I'm not allowed to lift that kind of weight at the moment. Will have to change my routine and phase out Manley frames and use SN1 with castellations, otherwise SN4's.
