    Compose a talk?

Could talk about the manufacture of foundation manufacturing equipment/machines. Talk about the embossing rollers required, length, diameter, gearing and type of motors needed, etc, maybe just explain the ribbon making machine and cutting table and let them work it out for themselves instead of...

can you have too much insulation ?

There was no point whatsoever in putting insulation over a dead colony.

    Not treating varroa

I know of lots of beekeepers that carried on doing what they always did when varroa arrived, they didn't carry on getting what they always got.

Grafting first queen cells of the season.

Doubt there will be a frost here, but if there is the cucumbers, pepper plants and lemon trees, etc, will be okay, have got the heating on.

Grafting first queen cells of the season.

If you started grafting tomorrow the drones would be fertile by the time your virgins were ready to mate.

    expanding brood.

A much larger mating nuc, can be a lot more than a mugful of bees in these when established as it sounds like in the op, what MC suggested works well or just shake them into a larger box, mini plus are also used for over wintering, here is one being used in Finland...

Grafting first queen cells of the season.

Will do the first grafts of the season next weekend, normally start on the 13th or 14th of April, so only a few days earlier. The quad boxes are strong enough for splitting now.

Grafting first queen cells of the season.

Plenty of drones around already this spring, so looking good for an earlier start to queen rearing this year.

    Bruising brood honey comb

Another myth busted about bees moving winter stores up into supers in spring and contaminating the honey.

What did you do in the Apiary today?

Amazing what twelve days of nice weather can do, much the same here, would rather the OSR flowered later like it did last spring, much more productive when the weather is more settled.

    Expense

Not trying to shoot you down...trying to make sense of anything you you put on here, in one post today you lost four hives due to starvation... and in another post in another thread you say you haven't lost any colonies. Seems your even trying to make sense of it yourself editing posts umpteen...
