No, but web sites crack up, close, break down over the years, including this one.

No, but it was done several years ago, back in 2014, so probably no longer exists.

    Estimating colony from foragers

Pete, yes, forgot the Americans, although there are other things, in this instance I was thinking more about syrup feeding and your recent comments about it at this time of year, being a bad plan, while many beefarmers with large numbers of hives have been doing just that.

Old brood comb and frames: recycle or chuck?

My take on this is slightly different here, as mentioned it makes a lot more economic sense, cheaper, to make up new brood frames than paying people to clean up old brood frames and re wax them. I have a couple of multi fuel boilers that these frames are burnt in, this saves money by not...

Old brood comb and frames: recycle or chuck?

Still clean up and re wax some old frames, but from an economical point it works out cheaper and quicker to make up new frames and just burn the old ones, comb and all.

Oxalic vapor gentle on the bees and brood, even with repeated doses, even doing way over the recommended dose.

    Feeding Bees?

Yes we could still be still in winter right up until the middle of May... as there could be snow up until then, even more usual during April. When is the start of spring.

I hope they keep them as they are, though can glue the feeder in place I suppose, but just another job and another place for wax moth.

    Feeding Bees?

Only if they need it, sugar syrup is okay if it remains mild, like it has been for the past week or so, otherwise feed fondant.

    Used XPS?

Of course they do, honey bees bore holes into trees to make their nests, I've seen the holes they make for nesting in.
