    Depends on your local council.i have to deal with trading standards and home visits every few years to check food hygiene for selling honey while a mile up the road there's no checks on food hygiene for selling honey under a different borough council

    swarm

    I've seen a few swarms hanging outside hive then disappear.had one on Friday.shook into hive and they all came back out and hung off the front so I gave them a frame of larvae and shook them back in so they're staying in the hive now.

    When overwintering kielers I use six frames with a homemade wooden feederboard for fondant or rapid feeder with washing up bowls as deep roof. Works a treat

    Lovely weather but little nectar going in.bees really aggressive.watched bees on mayflower but that's coming to an end but on a brighter note the blackberry buds are there so hopefully there will only be a short gap this year

    I run mine at 35. between 34 to 36 is fine.try to keep withing a degree.i use an stc 1000 for temp control and that keeps it within half a degree

    Charnwood any good?

    Woodford woodturning do some good machinery at reasonable prices and good reviews.thinking of upgrading my tablesaw and theirs take stacked dado blades.I will probably get one later in year as just bought a lyson 20 frame extractor and skint again at the moment.
