There were some very young larvae present but I could not see eggs ( lampoil problem)...

I have seen that during recent inspections too. Loads of buttercups around here and no OSR... K ;)

Yes it was a success, broke tabs after 24hrs and went back in seven days later. Couldn't see Queen at first but she was there and colony is building nicely. Increased from the 5 frame Nuc to an 8 frame national bb with a fat dummy which has since been replaced by 3 frames of fresh foundation...
