Evening, inspected my 14 x 12 brood box tonight.Red queen purchased and collected in 5 frame NUC 4 weeks ago, moved straight into National. Found few queen cells. plenty of bees covering all but last 2 frames, still to be drawn. believe i should add super??

Hi, I've a national hive with blue queen, slow to start the season, now with 3 frames of brood the rest mostly stores. I know I need to replace the queen, the question is how would you?? The bees are really calm and would like to use her eggs. No swarm cells todate. Thanks

Helped someone today with some very angry bees...ended up with 6+ stings. followed by very itchy palms and soles of feet. within 30 minutes antihistamine taken and all good after further 30 minutes. last year (my first year) total 20+ stings but never itchy before. anyone experienced this...
