    Starvation - Fields of Yellow

    Just lost one hive to starvation, last week lots of bees, 3 frames of brood, looked great. I moved the super above brood, placed large slap of fondant over hole in crown board.     agree, still have the problem with weight on inner cover pressing down on frames. guess i could place wood supports around the hole on inner cover and frames to prevent this.
