Equipment For Sale Vented Swienty Breeze Protector Suit L

Price reduced - now £35 free postage. £75 free postage SOLD Used three times. There are some tiny holes in the outer mesh which have been repaired and some marks on the veil. Size L has been a bit too big for me and I have now bought the same suit in M size.

I like the idea of tying the popular name to the Latin name, certainly in this case. It is maybe not be as difficult to change names for groups or categories as we might imagine. It happens all the time but probably needs a body with a strong desire to get the new name accepted.

    Oxalic acid

The Parcel Force lady today wanted to share her dilemma with me, as she held the parcel one way then another :ROFLMAO: APC accepted my order (for the stuff of this thread), then delayed it while it was sent to compliance. I wasn't hopeful: no registered company, no website, no social media...

    Oxalic acid

Thanks Will. You might be right but I doubt it. The 'tightening up' measures from Oct 23 were sent recently to beekeeping retailers only, I think. I think Home Office action from Oct 23 was more likely to be prompted by the toxic nature of OA, assuming that anyone there was actually thinking...

Enolapi is not a word that means anything to me I'm afraid. The oxalic acid that we use is dihydrate. Edit: the above in reply to @Hedgerow Honey

    Jar Prices 2024.

Anna from South called me to suggest I change to round 340g jars, which I did, and they came yesterday. They are, as you would expect, lighter and smaller than hex, but I'm looking forward to the change, partly as my labels are 90mm wide and so won't have the hard edges of the hex sides dividing...

What did you do in the Apiary today?

I've just had a look on Beesource but can't find what you're referring to. Would you mind please Dani, briefly going over the warning that you didn't heed.

You're talking antique pricing there

Unsure if I’ve done the right thing

Thanks, that's very helpful and interesting. Your questions to Graeme are a wonderful demonstration of the sort of thing that we might ponder (ideally) as we stand in front of the hive and say, what now? In a sense answers are easy in that they come from questions. Where questions come from is...

Thanks. I see there's a site with a range of ammo box sizes. I was puzzled about the size in mm to describe ammo boxes. I think I get it now. :ROFLMAO:

    Oxalic acid

There's no mention of anything like 99.5%. I don't know if that matters. It obviously doesn't for wood cleaning which is what they sell it for. HD Chemicals do add 99.5% to the product description and sell to the public, probably for cleaning. They may not have received the Home Office warning...

    Dadant or Thorne Empire

Just ordered a 10" Dadant from Modern Beekeeping. That was the easy bit. I've not yet come up with a replacement for the ammo box I've used for years for my 7" smokers. Somehow I don't think I'm going to find an equivalent: sturdy, airtight, and cheap. Hoping to hear what others use.
