I followed JBM's method of swarm control ,and it worked very well .No swarming but the colony got very big ,neighbour complained a couple of times as they were stung .I immediately removed them that evening /morning 84 stings later to their new apairy 12 miles away .The stings were my fault as...

My wife just sent me this video of a trip to a apairy today on her cruise with the mother -inlaw .Very calm bees and amazed the beekeeper has only a smoker to protect herself ,I'm glad that they provided veils for the visitors. If she came to my apairy it would be a blitzkrieg. John.

Just had its first wash and it came out fine ,added some stain remover in the wash very pleased with the result .Hope this helps John

Made a extractor module which is movable out of scrap wood ,I have modified the back since the video to allow the extractors gate valve to be more central to the hole . John.

I'm 5'11 But needed bigger size for my waistline .its a bit baggy on arms and legs ,but tucked in wellies no problem .I think the viel if I had got a 2 xl would not drop on my chin so much when looking down . Hope this helps John

Due to this thread I searched Facebook marketplace and got a sivercrest brand new in unopened box for £15 ,Was in Reading ,and got my son to pick it up today . There are bargains out there ,one selling for £100 on e Bay. Cheers everyone John
