God I love growing our own

I use an easy start Stihl power chainsaw. Incredible thing, you just gently pull the starting cable and it charges a spring which just fires the whole thing into life. No standing there for hours trying to start the damn thing. Best thing I ever bought, along with the Stihl sharpener which I...

To help others on here to get an idea of your prices I don't suppose you could tell me how much 100kg of sugar to Taunton in Somerset would set me back? It would...

Chain saws can be lethal so please get your husband the right gear for Christmas. Chain saw trousers are a must, a friend of mine swung his chain saw backwards and cut into the back of his leg. hello from new member in London

An hour's drive is quite a long distance. I would suggest you get a locked unit to keep all your kit in. I get fed up of walking 100 metres to get things I have forgotten, but ...... Welcome. Been on any courses?

    Instantvap

The instavap, is brilliant with double brood boxes, I just split them in the middle and vape through the gap. The weight if the top box holds it in place and the boxes sort of seal round it.

What's flowering as forage in your area

We had a horse chestnut tree locally that produced conker cases that were elongated and looked more like kiwi fruit, if opened the nuts inside were non existent. Never seen that before!

    Adding honey to sugar feed

Just a thought, if I added half a jar of honey to a cold mix of sugar water feed would the anto bacterial properties stop mould...... Might try it. Surely can't do any harm.
