    What is going on, Drone brood in supers

    Is the drone brood just in the super directly above the brood box? Would it make sense to take the queen excluder and put it above that first super? Just an idea I’m only a learner and I’m following the rise hive method so not using an excluder anyway myself

    Wildflower mix. Thoughts on the species

    It looks like mostly grass . The bees do like some of those wild flowers though Sunflowers of course but they won't flower for a bit. Oxeye daisy and knapweed probably some of the others too
