    extracting

I want to extract two Supers next week. I am using a Rhombus clearer board to clear the Supers. To prevent congestion in the brood box I am placing an empty super below the clearer board. Do the empty super frames have to have drawn comb in them. Any advice please.

    Castellated spacers.

I have castellated runners in my supers. When frames are put in there is no beespace between the bottom of the frames and the Queen excluder. The top of the frames are level with the top of the super box.
