I have been given a box of set osr honey in frames. I would like to extract it. I have a warming cabinet which goes to 38c. Will this be sufficient to get it liquid? Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks.

Hi all. Yes I shook bees out of the honey super first! The super was not on when I trickled. I understand vaping is better. My question really is how long before the residue of the oa is metabolised enough to ensure my honey super (which has been removed) is not at risk of contamination.

Hi there. I have a colony which has struggled and has just requeened and I thought I would use brood less opportunity to do an oxalic trickle. It had half a super on which I have removed. How long do I need to keep the super off. I am thinking a few weeks should do it?

This is the a small colony from a cast swarm on 4 or 5 frames by the way.

MHi all. I have just discovered a big pile of dead bees outside one of my hives. Is this something that I should be concerned about. My first instinct was to open up and put some fondant on. I have attached a pic.
