    1, it's lovely to use, soft and easy to apply. lovely smell, and buffs up to a lovely deep shine. (the carnuba wax does that) 2, wax heated indoors, turpentine warmed outdoors (in a tin can stood in hot water)

    put some more fondant on one of my colonies, the other two still weigh heavy upon hefting, and look as if they'll not need any feed this winter :)

    has no-one but me thought of the thermal gradients on a hill side / valley? if the temp is just warm enough for flight at the hive, it'd be cooler below, and not suitable for flight.

    I've heard loads of folk say " I know of someone with a fox & Hounds scene tattooed on their back", but have yet to actually see one, or even a photo of one. btw, both my arms and back are covered in tattoos, with a huge tiger scene on my back...
