Giving up - what to do?

Gentle queens, avoid perfumes and make sure your bee suit is away from any clothes she may wear in the garden. Sounds ominous though. I would miss bee keeping to much and would try for an out apiary. Stephen

    My first OA vape experience

Sounds good to me. Try some tin foil over the wood to stop the scorching. Got fed up of the time taken and hassle with a pan vaporiser and have splashed out on an Siblimox. Its either raining when im not at work or i do not have the time : ( Stephen

Beowulf A.Cooper was trying to breed bees which preferred supersedure over swarming.Does anyone know if this work continues? Never here it mentioned anywhere. Stephen

When to remove lower super from the hive?

Yes I will be running brood and a half (much as I admire Finman and his teachings) Probably leave it then as I am with Oliver and disturb as little as possible.thanks JBM

    Sublimation

Hi Yes I have cheap version from Ukraine used last week for the 2nd year and it works . Slight downside is shallow pan so don't use if you are recovering from the New Year ;-)
