    What did you do in the Apiary today?

    Put the entrance block back in. 2nd time this week. Something is trying to get into my hive!! Thinking of setting up a motion detecting camera.

    Thanks peeps, I've searched the internet for the genus Andrena and found the Nature guide site. I think it's one of those but can't decide. Anyone feel they can narrow it down?

    I am a customer of this business only ie. not benefitting from letting Erichalfbee know about them. They are a local business I found out about them because they made seeded paper favours for a friends wedding.

    I ordered them from the web. There's a site called beefriendlypaper.webs.com they will seed the paper with british seeds and they're reasonably priced.

    Budget Honey extraction

    I've just tried this and can confirm that it does work. I used a plastic storage box from Staples, a cake rack to raise the frame off the bottom of the box and a length of rope. Worked a treat, but did require some effort.
