If you make your own fondant can you make it in advance and freeze it and use it when you need it?

Has anyone used liquid bee smoke? And if you have what do you think of it?

Welcome I have no bees yet but getting prepared, going on a course in August. Garden nearly ready, and preparing hive. Lots of good books out there to read, enjoy.

Is it alright to join more than one local beekeeping club? I have joined one but there is another that is just a few miles away, or is it best to just stick with one club? It's that I just don't want to offend anyone.

I was just putting my frames together when up pops a honey bee and makes a bee line for them, had to put them back in the shed she would not leave them alone I will have to put them together inside lol.

We moved house about 4 weeks ago and the garden is about 126ft long, we had a small fence put up at the far end of the garden where I intend to put my hive so it is away from prying fingers, spoke to my new neighbours about keeping bees and they where really excited to hear there was going to be...
