I think a large majority of hives and bees stolen are actually stolen by beekeepers or wannabee keepers. over the last year or so bee have become very expensive. I think the removal of bees takes a certain amount of knowledge. just my opinion. sorry to hear about the thefts. one more reason...

oh yes, it makes sense to me as i am taking my swarm i collectad last sumer, through my first winter. every night i think to myself, is there anything more i can do ? and i worry a lot . :0) shonto
