    The surgical spirits I use has the following ingredients: Virgin Castor Oil 2.5% v/v Methyl Salicylate 0.5% v/v Diethyl Phthalate 2.0% v/v Industrial Methylated Spirit 95% v/v

    Surgical spirit contains castor oil and without the addition of the lecithin it wouldn't mix with water. the lecithin is added to emulsify the thymol solution so it DOES mix with water

    I have used surgical spirits from the local chemist with no problems, I don't think it matters which you use they both do the same. they are just a alcohol carrier to dissolve the thymol.

    I seal all edges with exterior PVA glue then paint the outside with Cuprinol Garden shades and very good stuff it is too.     Elder

    Myself and the wife were out collecting elder berries the other day for jam, chutney and wine making and were surprised to see a lot of elder trees laden with berries and starting to flower again .. very strange indeed :)

    Great view, using firefox and have to agree the frame rate is very slow as VM says itlike like a collection of several stills.
