First response and advice from Mike is spot on. Bees are a complex live stock that need to be treated correctly .. and as everyone knows little knowlwedge is a dangerous thing. Best to crawl before sprinting.

I tend to check between 2 to 4pm ... although did a check at 9:30pm last week -never again as I got three stings from normally placid bees .... anyone know why bees did'nt like being checked after 9pm?
