I doubt they'd go through as they wouldn't want to use extra energy or risk losing the pollen. Mouse guards are about the size of slightly large pencils so anything smaller would be fine

I'm tempted to say that it's not the size that matters but it probably is for Queens. Is there a direct correlation between size and the number of mating flights accomplished? Any answers?

I'm sure this has been answered before but due to illness this year I was unable to extract the honey (mostly OSR) which is now granulated in the frames. can I leave this honey under the brood box or will they not take it?

On this subject, I used to belong to the local association where insurance was included. I no longer belong and my bees are in an out apiary away from everywhere. Should I reconsider insurance and what sort of cover would I have and do I need it?

I've done 4 on a brood and a half but I think those of us who have bees near OSR will be limited given the need to take them off when they're capped, Gone are the days when you could put a super on in April and remove at the end of August
