    Food prices increase

As seen in attached picture recent disruption in supply chains caused food prices to go sky high. In ukraine taters are sold out of back of rolls royce.

    Oh My God

What is USA? And in most recent history what is Bundy standoff. Militia is made out of same people as government army. Planes and tanks won't stand on street corner and kick doors down. People will. If those people are opposed to doing it government has no power. If you have support of...

    Poultry fencing advice

Ducks are way better than chickens, they can be left to roam free in garden. They eat slugs and snails, so natural pest control. Less destructive but different care requirements. People are able to keep chickens in 6x12 back gardens, you wouldn't get away with it with ducks.

    Pineboard/lamwood hives

When figuring out is it worth it I use £20 for every hour of my work+materials minimum. Unless its a project you do for fun its not worth it as a rule of thumb unless you build something not available anywhere else. If you don't have money and lots of free time £10/h might be OK for you. Still...

    Yorkshire Perone hive build

Not trolling and never posted on here before. I know a bit about beekeping and I know I haven't got time for it. I also know that bees were around before beekeepers and they made it somehow. We are breeding dysgenic mutants that easily succumb to diseases and can't make it any more. Similar as...

    Pineboard/lamwood hives

If you know woodworking building a hive is a nice pastime but not worth it unless you got all materials and tools already there If you make it out of offcuts in at least semi pro shop why not Only thing is will lamwood be water resistant? Beehives get moisture on inside too. What sort of glue is...

    Mycelium and "MycoHoney"

Habitat loss? Breeding species that won't survive in wild? Nah mate, its climate change, simple as. I hate this narrative that reduces everything to climate change like nothing else has impact on anything. World is simple, you have to start eating bugs and paying carbon tax or bees die out.

    Nail Gun for Frames

Pneumatic ones work forever, even when they fail they are easily fixable. Electric ones as long as motor won't overheat are fairly durable too. Just don't do 10k nails in one go. For most people cheapo one is sufficient, pro ones are made for high duty cycles.

    Quick questions quick answers

If it smells like resin or is sticky it will have resin. Usually anything with spikes has more, with leaves less.

    Mycelium and "MycoHoney"

Fungi are critical for healthy soil From what I understand long story short is together with healthy bacteria they brake down and prerp organic matter to be absorbed by plants In beans and such they capture atmospheric nitrogen Read about no till and shallow till farming It's a lot of hippie new...
