Hello guys Can you give me some advice. How much would you charge for a national hive with bees? 11 frames with dummy board. The hives have varroa floor, brood box, crownboard and flat roof. No supers. Yes i know its too early to sell. Thanks.

    Maqs

Am I correct in saying that the company behind the treatment changed the dosage instructions as it was so strong?

What did you do in the Apiary today?

We did our first full inspection yesturday. What a beautiful day. We have one suspected drone layer but all the hives have done good so far. The bees are flying really hard on the oil seed rape. Moved a nuc to another site and within an hour they had found the rape and were going crazy.

    Little rant

Yes well what can you say? They are not the most common of sights around here at the moment but a bit blo*dy daft for them not to offer their help at least. That is what they are paid for at the end of the day, is to help.

    Little rant

Hiya guys Bear with me. Was in town last week, when I saw a lady in her car, which had a flat battery (happened to me many a time). I offered to help as I had jump leads in the back. Got my car next to hers and was in the boot struggling to untangle the leads from the car, when a cop car...

I dont begrudge you that trip. Exmoorbee is my hubby and we had afew hair raising moments when the berlingo went sideways down the field the bees were in due to the amount of mud. Not a happy moment. Luckily the bees were not in the back of the car at the time or else they would have thought...
