A lot of kit this year was making more than you could buy it for new.. still a few bargains to be had but not as many as last couple of years. Frames and foundation were particularly expensive. But it’s a good day out and drop on the occasional bargain.

Last years Lincoln Auction had them £100-130. Prior to the nucs full hive were selling around the £100 mark. In 2022 at Lincoln we bought two full hives one for £60 and another in a brand new hive with super for £95.

First swarm of the year has arrived in one of my 6 bait hives. Arrived sometime at the weekend, will leave them to settle in for a few days before transferring to a proper hive. None of my other bait hives have had any scouts at all around them yet!

Yes I think you would have to generate a new QR code, we sell our 8oz jars for £4.50 each or two for £8.

We have a PayPal GR for our honestly box sales. On ours it’s set up with two QR codes one for a single jar and another for two jars, hence the customer doesn’t have to enter an amount all they do is scan the code! 😁

In my home made swarm trap boxes I normally have 5 frames in with 4 being new foundation and one being an old drawn comb frame. I wouldn’t worry too much though I suspect you’d still have some success with foundation and a swarm lure if you don’t have any old brood frames!

Order arrived a day early all there apart from instead of a pack of super frames I’ve got a pack of brood but can’t complain will still make use of them. Really pleased with the £4 smoker
