    i heard growling in a hive yesterday took it apart but there were no drones in the hive but could not find what it was as it stopped as i moved the third frame from the end

    the box of bees are supposed to last 10 to 12 weeks then you destroy them but as has been said some mate with indigenous males

    my understanding is that there are no queens in the boxes of bees and when they have done the job in the polys then they are to be destroyed.

    six beehives have been stolen in Herefordshire again, this time from the Vowchurch area. They have HPB branded on them.
