Wells said and totally agree (and quite relevant to the opening post), all these years of pesticides and other cides building up in the eco-system aint doing any good added to this are the issues of monocrops and particulary in the USA where bees are transported 1000's of miles to a new site...

Yeah thats what my dad did years ago but now he says the orchard owners have what they call a pollenisation tree (s) in the middle of the orchard, tbh not sure what that means but i get the impression it replaces the bees or something - or he has got the wrong end of the stick or i totally...

    Moving Hives

Ok maybe i didnt explain, I seem to have a misunderstanding here, i believe if you close the hive up with the coloney inside within the hive say in the evening move the hive When the bees are in the new position you can reopen, then the bees return to the hive - If you move the hive more than...

    Limited Company

I believe being a 'sole trader' would be better as a start than a limited co' This is what i have done, as far as what is and what isnt taxable its mainly the income from the profit As this is my first year i havent made a profit as ive spent more than ive got in return at the moment. Being a...

    Moving Hives

I moved one of mine about 200 miles and the bees didnt return, waited to the evening like i said, the majority of the hive were inside when i closed them up, so why would they return to the old site? you may get a few stragglers but i always thought when you shut them up and moved them, the...
