Hi All, I am looking for 4 full hives with good queen and docile bees. I am in Uxbridge near Heathrow.

I looked after the hives well last year and were Verroa treated at the end of the season. I had a reasonable honey crop as well. Obviously, this is the time of year one should start managing them properly ( AS, Verroa, etc).

I had similar situation to Dewin Dwl, but perhaps 2 weeks ahead. Patience is the key. I inspected last week after leaving it alone for over 3 weeks. Found lots of brood, capped and uncapped as well as eggs. Did not see the queen. It might be worth mentioning that there was lots of stores and...

P.H. I will have a look at them tomorrow morning, then I will tell you how many frames they are covering. I hived them in a 11 frames BB that is partly drawn with few frames of stores.
