The brood box with queen is full of brood and honey, so can't swap any frames. I have an extractor, but not for brood frames.

Hmmm. Bees are considered livestock over here. Australia is not able to export livestock to the UK. The only 2 possible routes open are New Zealand (who have banned livestock entering from Australia) and via Canada. Dare I suggest you are actually looking to ship to the UK via Canada, or...

Only time I have used one is during winter months. Just to check they are ok, without lifting the roof. Is it needed...probably not, but it is nice to see them huddled up. If you don't already own one, spend your money on other bee equipment.

I like Cotswold bees YouTube videos. Certainly helped me get my head round doing artificial swarm last year.

Where do people buy/acquire their mesh from? Seems expensive from bee retailers.

Surely you can get some from Roy's. Does Roy's sell bees yet? Sells everything else. Used to love going that way, and spending too much at Wroxham barns.

I tried to use them and collect as was only going to be 10 minutes away. They refused due to 'covid' 🙄 Wouldn't even put them outside for me to collect. Strange as they are happy for courier to collect. Maybe there's a good profit in the delivery charge.

I have an update..... Parcel force have asked me today and I said I have received them.... Small problem is I am not at home and they didn't. That's the easy bit. My boy is at home and he said we got parcels the other day...but they were Amazon. Not looking good

But normally they don't sign, just take a picture. I've asked STB to check for photo of delivery. It's not with neighbours. STB are going to update me today.....
