    Done some research on cutcomb as it was nit selling for me . Most of the survey respondants said... 'it looks lovely....but what do you do with it?' I summise there is a generation of people who just dont know what it is. They need to be educated.... Cut comb usp is it is guaranteed unadulterated!

    This is shrews. Not mice, as the shrews diet is of insects only. Mice are more herbivorous. The thorax on the bee is eaten as that is where the muscle is mainly. The shrew will pick them off the bottom of the cluster during cold weather . I had it in one hive this year and I also found shrews...

    With respect to 'raw', OED tells us (of food) not cooked. (of a material or substance) in its natural state; unprocessed. So how did Trading Standards not accept the definition? I can only guess that they though that for honey to be raw, it needs to be in its natural state, therefore comb...

    Sorry, apologies, but I dont understand what you mean by 'mucked about with things like honey' , is there a problem with mixing the two? please enlighten me... I'd also like to hear why you think Trading Standards should become engaged... I'm intrigued!

    I would be interested to hear what are the performance measures of Trading Standards and who does one speak to about their (perverse?) decision making? Ive been through the same issue with Liquered Heather Honey.

    Quite agree BBC. If we use sustainable left over insulation such as sheeps wool loft insulation when we top up our houses, then we can do good and feel good too :) I guess if we see some celotex in a skip too, then its just as well too though. I prefer sheeps wool when I can find it as it packs...
