The one in my garden has flowered for the first time, I think it must be about six years, since I have been beekeeping anyway. My jaw nearly hit the floor the first time I noticed how many bees were on it.

The cordyline's are heavy in flower in my area this year and the bees are giving em a right pasting, still on them at 9pm tonight. Anybody got any idea what the honey might be like ?.

1 use a national and went double brood in my second season, I started by putting my empty broodbox underneath and after two weeks, nothing. Swapped to the top and within three weeks had brood in it.
