Hi there. I was gifted a wax seal but my attempts to use it with pure beeswax did not end well. I assume I need to add something to it but the only suggestion I found online was fabric glue. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what to add (or perhaps technique)? Many thanks.

Again thanks everyone - I assume that what I thought was the hole for a roll pin is actually the roll pin itself and that it has sheared in two with part still left - pictures of each end attached. So all I need to do is remove that bit that remains and find a replacement. Good tip re drill bit...

I didn't notice that there is a hole in the cog bit.... When I insert a paperclip the cog spins the green bit so it does look like I'm missing a pin... Where on earth do I get a replacement - how do know what I'm looking for? Thanks

Ah the rod on the extractor basket does not have a hole at the top - I suspect that part just have sheared off and be stuck in the green bit. I've tried banging it though and it doesn't come out! The extractor generally has proved problematic - part of the cage fell off today too.
