Same here. If i ever get to talk to someone i ALWAYS agree to a salesman's appointment and them when he arrives tell him where to poke his windows / kitchen / bathroom / solar panels etc.

Try to get hold of a test frame from someone if you've only got the one hive.
I had a hive without any unsealed brood last week. I popped a test frame in and checked today and found one single Q cell in the centre of the frame so it looks like they're going to supercede her.

I had an electrician fit one of those 16 amp blue sockets in my workshop to use with my welder. I went to have a look at it after he'd finished the job and he'd fitted a Male socket to the wall at face height with the pin permanently live.

I was told that the big willow opposite my house was a goat willow and i've taken loads of cuttings off of it and stuck them in the ground with a fair amount of success.
