    If the fondant hole was above the brood nest then they will be expanding the nest upwards. Same here, even had eggs.

    I have a quantity of brace comb with unsealed honey. I propose to feed it back to the bees in English feeders, with the central cover removed, over a crown board. Would this method be considered appropriate or are there any more suitable methods?? There is still a Borage flow on, but now...

    Cleaning Supers

    I had a similar problem with some crystallised osr left after extraction. Put the super under the brood box for a couple of days, all cleaned out, then removed for reuse.

    Checked this afternoon and no further development with the queen cups so will check again next week.

    Thanks everyone for the advice. At last inspection Tuesday there were queen cups, so far without eggs. There are 4/5 frames of BIAS and a couple of undrawn frames in the brood box.
