    When to Demaree?

I extract (usually) between /around July/August. The wet supers are wrapped in black plastic bags and stored over winter in a wooden shed. Put them back on the hives when they are requiered

    When to Demaree?

The supers are stored over winter and in this neck of the woods ants are "dormant" through the cold/wet months

    Raw honey

He checks our labeling on his yearly inspections. Approx 2 years ago he commented that he was happy with our labels, and then brought up his (and his departments) dislike of using "raw" in the description of the honey, saying that they are encouraging local beeks not to use the word...

Where do you buy your seeds?

I give mine a weak feed with Mirical Grow when I plant them in the pots, Then start giving them the full "dose" when the flowers are showing well.

Where do you buy your seeds?

To start the plants off in the pots I give them a couple off feeds of concentrated liquid seaweed . Then I feed them with a mix of dissolved chicken manure pellets and the seaweed feed.. Using the chicken pellets reduces the cost of the fertilizer feed.

Where do you buy your seeds?

I grew cues using the same system. Those were the days when it was difficult to grow cues from seed, In those days I bought in "Chitted" cue seeds. expensive, but they always produced.

Where do you buy your seeds?

When I was growing loads of toms, back in the '78s/80s, I grew toms in large (12/14 inch diameter and 14 inch deep pots) that were stood ion top of bakers trays that had 4 inches plus of gravel in them.. Always watered the gravell and fed the pots... A lot cheaper than "Quadgrow"

Where do you buy your seeds?

I suggested that you pinch/remove the growing "point" of the plant, not remove the leaves. This stimulates the plant to produce side shoots and so increase the crop.

I grow Marketmore 76. Some spikes, but they can be rubbed off. They are a "small" type.. 20cm approx.. Pinch out the growing point after 8/10 leaves (approx)..

Where do you buy your seeds?

Since I have been growing Marketmore 76 I have not had any problems with mould. May be a coinsidence, but I also grow courgettes close to the cues and they (courgettes) suffer, occasionaly from mould. They are in a very well ventilated polytunnel.
