I havent seen mine for 5wks now, But have a friend coming next week to have a look with me, before we take the supers out for the honey, Thats what friends are for,, Just Ask,,

Thanks everyone the hive is about 120ft from his house, How does he know that it was a bee not a wasp or a bumble bee?? I think he will be happy at the end of the month when he gets his free jar of honey?? wonder what he will say when the second hive goes down there??

what I do before I do my hive is just puff myself over with the smoker and most of the bees dont come near me!!!!

put my new hive down the garden, Saw the queen bees were calm, put a super under the brood box as well, weather showers, but more than happy with help from Marie thanks again for your help in my first year,,

well what I did was download the plans of the net, then I used them as templates to make the rest, So I still have the flat packed ones in my celler ready to make more when needed..so I just bought 1super and 1 broad which I havent used just keep them as my templates,,
