    When should drones go

    Thanks all, It is a strong colony a cast swarm caught 6th June saw the virgin queen escorted out on virgin flight. Nine days later she began laying. Since then two supers honey followed by two supers ivy honey. Shall remove one when flow over. And remove queen excluder. At mo.. busy busy bees

    Focal length

    I have one but not the answer. I need to be stationary to zoom into bees... my current camera too heavy and unable to zoom in enough. Thanks for the reply though.

    What is an ideal focal length for a telephoto lense. I am disabled wheel chair user. Want to take shots of bees. Conservatory approx nine metres from hive. Suggestions please for light camera and lense. Currently using a Sony f828. Thanks
