    Mead recipe please

Blood Heat Water? Organic Wine is very expensive here, but I know the Importers, maybe I can find a bottle from them, that they will give away, due to spoilage. Hopefully spoilage, because they started fermenting. ;)

Sterilisation Where I live it is impossible to get a sterilising Agent, such as campden tablets, the only thing which I found on the shelv was Milton Solution (to sterilise Baby utensils). It does not contain any Sulphur, only Sodium Hyperchloride. Will this be sufficient to sterilise the...

    Nuc Entrance

Bees also prefer it if there comb is "aligned" to entrance. If the hole is onthe long side bees have to climb oer/under the first frames to get to the last one, making their life more difficult, then if they can excess all the frames from the entrance without minimal effort.

    Honey Cake Recipe Needed

How about using the wifes recipe but instead of the fruit in the batter, she lines the baking pan with the fruit and then makes and upside down fruit and honey cake. Just butter the pan thouroghly and sprinkle with sugar before lining with fruit.

Number of Wasp nests near Apiary

We deal with a different varriety of wasps and bees and they seem to get along so far. And for now the bees are outnumbering the wasps. Further more our wasps like easier prey. We currently have atleast 4 nests in our garage and will probably destroy them, as soon as they sting the first person...

    Stings

I have been stung by wasps and bees and from that experience, I say that wasp stings hurt far worse than bee stings. Further more I know for myself, that putting a sliced onion on the wound for half an hour at least, sucks the venom out nicely and the swelling doesn't last to long. Hubby on the...
