Garden bees in Gloucestershire - in their home-made hive

Teasel 1. A trough hive made from clean scrap wood, coated with plain linseed oil. It takes 14x12 frames, but I've also put some top bars on it. The frames are foundationless. A 5-frame nuc of Buckfast bees from nearby Oxfordshire were added at the beginning of June 2010.
