I thought I would put a plant quiz on here please don't use apps etc...
These are some of the plants I have in one of the tunnels now.
There veg, perennials and a bulb variety.
To the winner I'll send you a post card ha!!
If admin wants to move this thread feel free.
If the pics are not brilliant I'll try and put more on here .
Number them 1/8

Well at a quick glance through with only leaves and buds on view I think I saw a couple of things from the pea family; possibly a michaelmas daisy, maybe a raspberry or was it an errant bramble? and maybe marigolds and/or cosmos? plus couple that look very familiar but my grey matter won't even recall a name right now so I might have to cheat.:rolleyes:


just had another look through before cheating- beans and rocket ?

I'll give some hints as to what they are at dinner time.
There's no annuals .
3 is a bulb and 8 begins with E

1 is a annual with nuc in the back ground.

My Guesses: Poppy, Mizuna or overcrowded lettuce, Ground Elder, Lily or Orchid, Pea, Raspberry, Oxeye or other large daisy, and Evening Primrose?

I would have said
1: Poppy.
2: Rocket
3: ?
4: Lily
5: Sweet Pea
6: Raspberry
7: Chrysanthemum
8: ?
 
Ok hints.
1 annual begins with p
2 is a salad leaf taste like rocket
3 invasive perennial weed
4 is a tender bulb and is fruity
5 is a legume
6 is a autumn fruit
7 has white single flowers and old folk love to grow them.
8 can be used as a herb for well being in capsules etc you can buy it at health food shops.

3. Looks like Ground elder (its a pain in the butt in my garden)
4. Some form of Asiatic Lilly
5. Garden peas
6. raspberry cane
7. Leucanthemum (crazy daisy) I'm growing some and look very silimar
8. looks familiar but can't think?? possibly Rudbeckia?

2 mizuna
3 ground elder
4 pineapple Lilly
5. Pea early onwards
6 yellow raspberry
7chrysanthemum
8 Echinacea hybrid pink parosol
