    Chronic bee paralysis overnight?

Get a new queen if you are able. And stop playing that "waiting game". You have healthy hives and that one sick. It tells that reason is in genes.

    BBC recommend open feeding...

Makes no sense those shallow bowls. Take care that the hive has two full frame of food all the time. It means 5 kg sugar. Give it with feeding box. It takes two day when bees suck the juice.

Bees in car - any ideas

Bees use to fly against window towards the sun. Move the car to such place that bees can fly away via open window. If some bees die inside the car, that is not a big problem. Normally 2000 bees die during one day

    Do you Destroy Queencups/Play Cups?

Play cups is so that every hive makes playcups even if they do not swam. Playcups means nothing about swarming fever.

Swarm control without finding the queen

Padgen is very good. I have done it 30 years. But I know many guys who gave not learned to succeed in it. Clipping queens' wing is very essential. Otherwise ypu will see the smarm high at the tree top 30 metres.
